MaxIron Pipelines

MaxIron Pipelines moves Maximo configuration, scripts, and integrations through proper, tested, repeatable releases — from development through QA into production — without manual hands on a production system. Faster, safer, and finally compliant with the engineering standards the rest of your IT estate already meets.

What it does for you

  • End of "we'll do it manually in production"
  • Maximo-aware: configuration, scripts, integrations and reports flow as proper releases
  • Tested, repeatable, auditable
  • Fast lane for hotfixes that still go through the right scrutiny
  • Production gates through Change Control
  • Plays nicely with the engineering toolchain you already have

Where it fits in your Maximo programme

Pipelines is the engineering layer that brings tested, repeatable releases to a Maximo and MAS team. It pairs naturally with DevForge for environments and with Change Control as the production gate. It is especially valuable on a serious Maximo to MAS upgrade programme, where repeatable, tested releases are the difference between a smooth cutover and a stressful one.

MaxIron Pipelines — frequently asked questions

Why does Maximo need its own CI/CD product?
Because the things that change in Maximo — applications, security, scripts, integrations, screens, reports — do not move through generic CI/CD tooling well. Pipelines understands what these things are, how they fit together, and how to move them between environments tested and intact.
Will this work with our existing CI/CD platform?
Yes. Pipelines runs alongside the engineering toolchain you already have rather than replacing it. The point is the Maximo-specific parts; the build farm stays the build farm.
Can we still do hotfixes?
Yes. Pipelines makes hotfixes safer, not harder. There is a fast lane for time-critical changes that still goes through testing and the right approval, just much faster.
Does it work with classic Maximo and MAS?
Yes. Both classic Maximo 7.6.x and IBM Maximo Application Suite are supported.
How does this play with Change Control?
Pipelines uses Change Control as its production gate. Together they give you proper engineering discipline plus the governance evidence regulated industries require.
