MaxIron Upgrade Factory

If you have to upgrade five, ten, fifty Maximo estates to MAS, doing it as a bespoke project each time is not a strategy. MaxIron Upgrade Factory turns MAS upgrades into a calendared, industrial process — repeatable, planned in waves, executed with predictable cost and time per estate. Built for customers running Maximo at fleet scale.

What it does for you

  • MAS upgrades planned and executed as waves on a calendar
  • Predictable cost and time per estate, not bespoke pricing every time
  • Standard tooling carries the routine work; senior people focus on the decisions
  • Fleet-aware: customers with many Maximo estates get a coherent programme rather than a portfolio of projects
  • Naturally pairs with customisation modernisation so the upgraded estates stay upgrade-friendly
  • Ends the "we still have nine left" problem

Where it fits in your Maximo programme

Upgrade Factory is the industrial-scale form of Maximo to MAS upgrade. It is normally combined with customisation modernisation, database conversion where required, Blueprint on each upgraded estate, and Pipelines + DevForge for the engineering plumbing.

MaxIron Upgrade Factory — frequently asked questions

Who is Upgrade Factory for?
Customers running multiple Maximo estates that all need to move to MAS — typically five, ten or more. Doing each as a bespoke project does not scale; Upgrade Factory turns the upgrade into a repeatable, calendared process.
How is this different from a regular Maximo to MAS upgrade?
A regular upgrade is a project. Upgrade Factory is an industrial process: standard tooling, repeatable wave planning, predictable cost and time per estate. The first upgrade looks similar; the tenth looks completely different from doing it bespoke.
What is the smallest scale where this makes sense?
Five estates is the typical lower bound, although customers with fewer estates that face frequent change still benefit. Below that, our standard MAS upgrade engagement is usually the right shape.
Will it work with heavy customisations?
Yes. Upgrade Factory is designed for the real world. Customisation modernisation work usually runs alongside it so the upgraded estates are also upgrade-friendly going forward.
Do we still get senior MaxIron involvement, or is it factory-only?
Senior involvement on every wave. Industrialisation removes the wasted effort, not the expertise. Standard tooling carries the routine; senior people focus on the decisions that matter.
