MaxIron Autoheal

Most production Maximo incidents are the same incident, repeated. MaxIron Autoheal closes the loop on the boring ones — stuck queues, hung schedulers, certificate expiries, integration backlogs — automatically and safely, with a full audit trail. Your operators stop being woken up at 03:00 to do the same thing they did last month.

Operations dashboard showing Autoheal playbooks resolving a recurring Maximo incident class

What it does for you

  • Curated playbooks for the failures every Maximo estate sees again and again
  • Guardrailed, scoped actions with full audit
  • Optional approval flow through Change Control for higher-impact playbooks
  • Full audit trail of every automated action
  • Out-of-hours pages collapse, mean time to resolution drops
  • Engineers stay focused on the genuinely new problems

Where it fits in your Maximo programme

Autoheal closes the operational loop opened by Sentinel and Diagnose. Together with Cloud Manager and Change Control, it is the operations engineering layer behind a serious enterprise Maximo estate, and shows up by default in MaxIron managed hosting.

MaxIron Autoheal — frequently asked questions

What kinds of failures does Autoheal handle?
The repeatable, well-understood ones: stuck cron tasks, queue backlogs, certificate expiries, integration retries, scheduler failures and similar known patterns. The point is to take the boring, repetitive incidents off operators so they can focus on the genuinely new problems.
Is automated remediation safe in production?
Yes, by design. Every Autoheal action runs through guardrails, is scoped to known-safe playbooks, and is fully recorded. Where appropriate, it requests human approval through Change Control before acting.
Can we add our own playbooks?
Yes. Customers add their own playbooks for the specific patterns they see, alongside the curated ones we ship. Playbooks are versioned and reviewed.
Do we need Sentinel and Diagnose to use it?
They make Autoheal much more useful, because they tell it what to act on and why. Autoheal can also act on signals from existing monitoring where those signals are good enough.
Will my team stop being needed?
No, your team stops being woken up at 03:00 to do the thing they did last month. Autoheal removes the boring incident, not the engineer.
