MaxIron AI Engine
MaxIron AI Engine is the governed agentic AI layer in the MaxIron Portal. Customer-trained role agents work together across delivery, support, operations and reporting, with review gates, evidence trails and human accountability.
AI Engine is built for organisations where AI work cannot sit outside the operating model. It gives each role agent a defined purpose, scope and review path, then coordinates those agents through governed workflows in the MaxIron Portal that can be inspected after the event.
The result is not one general assistant trying to do everything. It is a coordinated set of trained agents, each aligned to a role and stream of work, operating through the Portal with stage history, review gates and retained evidence.
What it coordinates
- Delivery agents for upgrade, build, test and programme execution support
- Support agents for triage, incident analysis, draft runbooks and service reporting
- Operations agents for scheduled checks, diagnosis, remediation drafts and routine reporting
- Governance agents for evidence, review routing, policy checks and approval support
- Guided interaction where authorised users can work with a trained role agent before promoting work into a governed workflow
How control is retained
Each workflow is matched to the right operating mode: assist for advisory work, draft when human approval is required before publish, and controlled automation for well-understood repeatable work. Material outcomes remain reviewable and accountable.
Learning is also controlled. Corrections, patterns and human teaching can improve future runs, but approved knowledge and rule changes are governed before they influence agent behaviour.

MaxIron AI Engine - frequently asked questions
- What is MaxIron AI Engine?
- MaxIron AI Engine is the governed agentic AI layer in the MaxIron Portal. It organises role agents around customer, product, team and workflow context so they can support delivery, support, operations and reporting under controlled review.
- What makes it different from a chatbot?
- A chatbot answers a question. AI Engine coordinates trained role agents through scoped work, review gates, stage history and retained evidence. It is designed for operational work, not unmanaged conversation.
- How is it governed?
- Work is scoped by role and workflow type. Higher-impact actions move through review gates, human approval and evidence capture. Learning and improvement are governed rather than silently applied.
